Sorcery scales with intelligence — simply it doesn't have any healing spells, remember that when in combat. Some of the sorcery spells cast dark magic, conjure a weapon, imbues your weapon, or summons a homing Soulmass. To cast any in this class, you need to equip a staff or catalyst.
Pyromancy scales with both faith and intelligence and requires Pyromancy Flame, Pyromancer's Parting Flame, White Hair Talisman, or Demon'south Scar to bandage spells. Pyromancy spells not merely cast flames, simply they have access to a healing spell and Rapport, which charms the enemy so they're a temporary ally. Pyromancers can also bandage toxicant spells and use Fe Flesh which boosts damage absorption. The Pyromancer has access to the Pyromancy Flame at the offset of the game.
